EA origin client uses to spy habits of yours users

A very interesting post made on Reddit come to my attention.
The post reveals that EA is using your Origin client to snoop files in order to know the habits of its users. And it seems that this is more or less confirmed because representatives of Origin said "we are investigating the fact."

Now, what exactly does "usage habits"?

According to the indictment, the Origin is snooping personal files on your computer while you have fun, probably when these files are running, including your browser too.

While we do not know if she was spying on our browsing activity, as well as the simple fact that it is accessing the browser process, already deserves attention.

Take a look at the image below:

The screenshot does not seem to reveal much at first, but the files are hidden using a Cypher ROT13 (credits: brainiac256) used by the Windows registry. This particular file is the popular PS2 emulator called PCSX2 1.2.1 encrypted with ROT13 cipher.

Do not believe?

Put "PCSX2 1.2.1? Encrypter ROT13 this and see what you get. In fact some of the processes shown in this screenshot and actively decoded for Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, iTunes and Foxit Reader plus a game or two (Torchlight).

This is a very serious allegation with the weight of evidence and it was only a matter of time before an Origin representative appear on the site and issue a statement:

"Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I've been working with our team of real-time operations to fully investigate this matter. Origin is not spyware and there should be no operations of any kind of espionage or invasion of privacy. I hope we may be able to update you on the investigation soon, we will get to the bottom of it ?? please me report any additional details or information that will help us investigate. we take statements like this very seriously. "

Some users has shown neutral as to say that EA / Origin TOS (Terms of Service) actually states that they can do something once you agree to the terms of the TOS before using the client, technically they are not doing anything wrong.

Here is the relevant part posted by the user:

"EA collects non-personal information along with personal information when you actively provide it in the context of various online activities and furniture, including online and mobile purchases, game record of research and marketing, for example. In addition, we and other "thirds" use cookies and other technologies to passively collect non-personal demographic information, personalize your experience on our sites and monitor advertisements and other activities. NOX

Particularly all android emulators that have tested to date, could not fail to come here and create this "article" to talk about the subject, Nox App Player. It's a super easy program to install bringing all Android 4.4 features, supports FullHD resolution, keyboard and mouse. It is a great experience, as if we were using a giant tablet! It is friendlier Games, therefore you must have an account with Google to enjoy the Play Store and install whatever you want, from internal to external app's (popular outside of Google Play).
Experience is absurd, I ran some games and during my testing it fared stable in all the most demanding applications, eg Mortal Kombat X that uses a lot of system. Running in 1080p at 60FPS and graphic quality at best, is another "world".

GTA IV

I really do not do it, but right at the moment I write this I have just reset gta iv, the picture above is a prit my steam gallery.
GTA IV is by far one of the worst ports for PC: no matter if you have an i3 4th gen + 4gb ram + GTX 550ti or i7 4790k + 16gb of ram + GTX 980Ti, the game will choke and choke will very ! (I'm serious, my PC runs games like Battlefield 3 to 100FPS +, and this port ridiculous enough to fall to 30 by simply walking map).
Games for Windows Live: this plague was never good, now with Win 8 / 8.1 / 10 worse, you have to make it work out that it is impossible to log in LIVE and thus coolest to be able to save the game (yes, spend be logged in to simply save)
Overpriced: just say this about the game to be 29.99 for this port which was simply ugly by a group of tin collectors (you really like GTA buy Pack Grand Theft Auto Trilogy - GTA III, GTA VC, GTA SA - perhaps a promotion -75% this game be "with a fair price")
Rockstar Games, is that you? I never understand and never intend to understand WHAT THE HELL A ROCKSTAR MADE WITH THIS GAME ON PC, seriously, Rockstar never made perfect games for the PC (see the old and Bully GTAs) but this was special, that makes it seem that Rockstar just released GTA IV for PC to say: look your troxa, you wanted GTA IV for PC, ta ai
Anyway, the game is bad? No, the game has an optimal campaign and considerable replayvalue if you do not mind catching the game at 30FPS and reduce some of the graphs maybe this is a great game for you, now you are enthusiast PCs and want to run forever a + 60FPS at 1080p with all the very high and try to put a iCEnhancer simply give up =)
These four hours have the PC version was simply trying to make the game become functional, but it is simply impossible

My final notes:

Graphics: 8/10
Gameplay: 8/10
History: 8/10
Optimization: 0/10
GFWL: 0/10

P.S .: If I ever make the game be functional so that I play it with even a iCEnhancer and not fall 60FPS I redo my analysis

Steam, all you need to know

stema

Contrary to what many users think, Steam is much more than a tool to download demo games. With it you get inside of the releases, participate in some cool communities, buy original games for much less (generally, clear that every rule have you exception), installs and manages their games on multiple machines and with maximum security, low games for free and also offers online support.

 BEST GAMES FOR MUCH LESS

Unless you are an extremely conservative consumer who does not give up holding a plastic box in hand, buying bonds for Steam is a great deal. First because you do not have to pay for printing costs and logistics of media and physical packaging, purchases on Steam are always online.
Second, because a game bought virtually is not subject to taxes or added values to the shops. You get direct source title and earn the right to download it as many times as you want.

PROMOTIONS

The steam of game values vary according to regional ecômia. When buying a game you agree to a term that blocks a game to be using only one continent or country (or countries geralemente the same continent) Let's talk now of regional conversion, for example, the price you pay for a purchased game on " Brazil stem "is much lower than what would be paid in purchasing" steam US " or a large version of the steam of a European power. In the end, a game on physical media that recently launched cost (approximately) BRL R$ 200,00 in stores in Brazil, can be found for U$ 59,00 in "American Steam", and (approximately) in BRL R$ 120,00 in "Brazilian steam." In the case of games that already are on the market longer value the physical media compared is still much smaller, not counting on weekly discounts and promotions based on national or global freriados, discounts of all values, easily reaching the real value 75% and often exceeding this value.
